Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas 10-inch size
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning blend
  • 4 ounces deli ham thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces hard salami thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 4 slices provolone cheese cut in half
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers drained and chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach or romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 4 rings banana peppers sliced, optional
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Plastic wrap
  • serrated knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese until smooth and well combined.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across each tortilla, leaving about 1 inch at the edges.
  3. Layer provolone cheese halves down the center of each tortilla, then add overlapping rows of ham, salami, and pepperoni.
  4. Top with roasted red peppers and banana peppers if using, then scatter spinach or lettuce over the meats.
  5. Starting from one edge, roll each tortilla tightly but gently to create a compact cylinder.
  6. Wrap each roll individually in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice each roll into 12 pinwheels. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

    >Room temperature cream cheese spreads more easily >Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing for clean cuts >Pat roasted peppers dry to prevent soggy tortillas >Can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance
