  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha adjust to taste
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Equipment

  • air fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • sharp knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Cut salmon fillet into uniform 1-inch cubes. In a medium bowl, toss salmon with olive oil, honey, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes. Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket without touching. Cook in batches if needed.
  3. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes until salmon is cooked through, crispy on edges, and reaches 145°F internal temperature.
  4. While salmon cooks, whisk together Greek yogurt, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make bang bang sauce.
  5. Let salmon rest for 3 to 5 minutes. Drizzle with bang bang sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket for best crispiness
  • Pat salmon dry before seasoning for better browning
  • Use an instant-read thermometer to check doneness
  • Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 2 days
  • Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes
